Benjamin Brown

Benjamin Brown is Associate Director of Development at Freecity, with over 20 years of experience across the full property development lifecycle, from strategic planning and acquisition through to project delivery and marketing. His experience spans commercial, residential, hotel, retail, Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Co-Living and mixed-use development.

At Freecity, Benjamin has led the development of the group’s PBSA portfolio, including projects at Macquarie Park, Rockdale and Forest Lodge. He holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney.

Benjamin has been at the forefront of advancing high-rise Volumetric Modular Construction (VMC) in NSW, helping translate modular construction from concept into a commercially and regulatorily viable development model. His work brings together the technical delivery of VMC with the planning, regulatory, compliance, procurement and financial frameworks required to deliver high-rise modular developments at scale.
