Edward Li

Edward Li co-founded Freecity Group, bringing a wealth of experience in planning and design across numerous large-scale projects, from conception to delivery. As Freecity’s Chief Development Officer, Edward drives a design-first and innovation-led philosophy. This approach not only enhances the lived experience but also maximizes the long-term value of each development for residents, partners, and communities. Freecity’s DNA of innovation through modular construction, integrated Build-to-Rent and Co-Living models, and a sustainability-driven ethos reflects Edward’s vision for redefining how cities grow and how people experience urban living. 

Edward holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and a Master of Planning in Urban Design & Strategic Spatial Planning from the University of New South Wales.
